Noi crediamo …. (English version)

 

in DIO, Padre possente e Madre tenerissima, che è Amore e che per amore ha creato l'universo e tutto ciò che contiene, insufflando una natura di dignità nell'umanità, uno spirito di liberazione dalla schiavitù per il quale noi possiamo gridare a Dio con confidenza e fiducia, come figli e figlie (Rm 8,15).

 

Noi crediamo in GESU' , immagine fedele del Dio vivente ed amante (Gv14,9), Signore e Maestro, icona dell'umanità nuova, nostro fratello, nostro esempio, nostro amico, nostra pace (Gv 16,33), nostra forza (Lc 6,19), nostro pastore (Salmo 22) e custode, porta di ogni Bene (Gv10,7), modello di ogni relazione, balsamo, rimedio e medicina per ogni ferita del male che strazia le nostre anime (Mt 11,28-30).

 

Noi crediamo nello SPIRITO SANTO, respiro di Dio, alito di vita (Gn 1,1), forza dall'Alto (At 1,8), suprema ispirazione, suggeritore di ogni progetto di pace e di giustizia (Lc12,12), consolatore (Gv 14,16), intercessore presso il trono dell’Altissimo, colui che offre al Padre i nostri flebili e inconsapevoli balbettìi (Rm 8,15).

 

Noi crediamo nella CHIESA, famiglia di Gesù (Mt 12 49), accogliente (Gv 10,26),UNA perché inclusiva e CATTOLICA (cioè universale) perchè aperta all'abbraccio di ogni uomo e di ogni donna; SANTA perchè oasi di dignità dove i fratelli e le sorelle - attorno al Primogenito - sono riuniti nell'amore e nell'uguaglianza, rendendo bestemmia ogni forma di emarginazione e discriminazione.

 

Noi crediamo nella CHIESA come luogo in cui l'eredità degli apostoli rifulge e scalda i cuori come fiaccola, utile a nutrire, guidare e consolare il popolo di Dio in cammino attraverso i doni incommensurabili della Grazia sacramentale e del grande Sacramento della relazione autentica.

 

Noi crediamo nella COMUNIONE DEI SANTI, legame inscindibile che Cristo ha sigillato per l’Eternità tra Cielo e terra, annullando i guadi del tempo e dello spazio, nello splendore di un’eternità sempre viva e presente nel cuore dei redenti, in una misteriosa Comunione che avvolge coloro che dimorano lieti nel seno di Abramo e noi che bramiamo di essere cullati nell’utero di tenerezza preparato per noi fin dall’inizio dei tempi.

 

Noi crediamo nel BENE che è presente nel cuore di ogni essere umano sin dalla fondazione del mondo, potenza in grado di respingere le tenebre; noi crediamo nel dialogo come luogo privilegiato di fratellanza e sorellanza umana, crediamo nell'abbraccio come fuoco di benevolenza che divampa,  dissolvendo l'incanutita cortina di ghiaccio che congela il fluire della gioia e dell'amore in questo mondo travagliato.

We believe ….

​

​

in GOD, almighty Father and most tender Mother, who is Love and who through love and for love created the universe and all that it contains, blowing a nature of dignity into humanity, a spirit of liberation from slavery for who we can cry out to God with confidence and trust, as sons and daughters (Rom 8:15).

​

We believe in JESUS, faithful image of the living and loving God (Jn 14: 9), Lord and Teacher, icon of the new humanity, our brother, our model, our friend, our peace (Jn 16:33), our strength (Lk 6 , 19), our shepherd (Ps 22) and guardian, door of all Good (Jn 10: 7), model of every relationship, balm, remedy and medicine for every wound caused by evil that tears our souls (Mt 11, 28 -30).

​

 

We believe in the HOLY SPIRIT, breath of God, breath of life (Gn 1,1), strength from the Highest (Acts 1,8), supreme inspiration, prompter of every project of peace and justice (Lk 12:12), comforter ( Jn 14:16), intercessor at the throne of the Most High, he who offers our weak and unconscious babble to the Father (Rom 8:15).

We believe in the CHURCH*,(see the footnote)  family of Jesus (Mt 12 49), welcoming (Jn 10,26), ONE because it is inclusive and CATHOLIC (ie universal) because it is open to the embrace of every man and woman; HOLY because it is an oasis of dignity where brothers and sisters - around the Firstborn - gather in love and equality, blaspheming all forms of marginalization and discrimination.

​

We believe in the CHURCH*(see the footnote) as a place where the legacy of the apostles shines and warms hearts like a torch, useful for nourishing, leading and consoling the people of God on their journey through the immeasurable gifts of sacramental grace and the great Sacrament of authentic relationship.

​

We believe in the COMMUNION OF SAINTS, an inseparable bond that Christ sealed for eternity between Heaven and earth, canceling the fords of time and space, in the splendor of an eternity always active and present in the hearts of the redeemed, in a mysterious enveloping Communion those who happily dwell in the womb of Abraham and us, yearning to be lulled into the womb of tenderness prepared for us since the beginning of time.

We believe in the GOOD that is present in the heart of every human being since the foundation of the world, a power capable of repelling darkness; we believe in dialogue as the privileged way of human brotherhood and sisterhood, we believe in embrace as a fire of benevolence that blazes, dissolving the white ice curtain that freezes the flow of joy and love in this troubled world.
